Professor Greybeard (Boris Pillin, pianist/composer), gives a laudatory talk, lecture and demonstration on the music and life of Ludwig Van Beethoven, celebrating his 240^th birthday. Also on that da?s is Mrs. Greybeard (Tracey Alexander) singing “Ich Liebe Dich” and singing a rousing “Ode to Joy”. These USC graduates and musicians will give the talk on Wednesday, December 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the M. Callas Salon at 4913 Melrose Avenue (in the back parking entrance). There will be light refreshments along with the show. Cost: $15 for adults. All are welcome. The Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise and the Pathetique (excerpts) will be featured.
